Also having an ornately shaped pendulum rod and transit locking device.

In a good, well figured mahogany case with break-arch top, finely executed mouldings and silk backed fish-scale frets to the sides and door front. The break-arch back door being glazed and the full size, opening front door carries the cast Sheraton style bezel with high bowed glass and brass rod side edging. Topped with a cast brass swinging handle and stood upon brass Ogee feet.

*Richard Reeves is recorded as working in City Road, London from 1809 to 1819, this clock is absolutely typical in style and quality of 1810 and is of transitional period between full front door and hinged bezel with round dial.
