* I attribute this clock to William Trail who is recorded as working in London circa 1828 - 57. The design of the brass inlaid panels is identical to those used throughout the Regency period and a little beyond. There are elements of this wall clock that are identical to elements found in Regency Bracket clocks circa 1810 - 1820.

** The dial retains its original paintwork that has been cleaned and repaired for conservation and authentication purposes. The background has aged to a lovely cream colour and makes this clock look stunning. This is another clock that I would have no hesitation in hanging on my wall at home.
