The figured mahogany case has a stepped chamfer top with a cast brass, pineapple finial. The plain trunk has a figured front that is strung with brass to the front. This is repeated on the short plain plinth which sits upon four brass, 'Ball-and-plate' feet. The rear of the case has a plain, locking door.
Dimensions: 13" high including the finial x 7 1/4" wide x 6" deep.
Circa: 1835.
Condition: The movement is bright and in working condition but as usual, would benefit from
an overhaul. The dial is good and has been repainted at some stage, there are
some minor chips. The case is in excellent condition and has been re-polished. Both
locks are original and are working.
Price: £2,000 in present and working condition. Any work required by the purchaser can
be discussed upon enquiry. Please note, if I get a chance to overhaul the movement
to this clock the purchase price will increase to £3,450.
