An attractive early Victorian fusee Dial clock.

The eight day duration, gut fusee movement with Anchor Recoil escapement, knopped pillars and shouldered plates.
Behind a 12" diameter, bowed painted iron dial with outer minute track and Roman hour numerals. The centre being signed "BURLINGTON, LONDON". Also having matching 'Open moon' hands and a cast brass, locking bezel with bowed glass.
The mahogany case is of good colour and has a narrow bezel surround. The back box has a side access door and a rounded bottom with a curved door.
Dimensions: 14 1/2" wide x 6" deep to the glass high point.
Circa: 1840.
Condition: The dial paint has been repaired but retains most of its base paint. The bezel lock needs
attention but is original and the rear wooden cover to it is missing. The back box has
signs of historic repairs and the doors have been replaced. The movement is in working
condition but would benefit from a complete overhaul.
Price: £2,450 with the case and movement fully restored and guaranteed or £1,250 in its
current but working condition.
